Silicon Valley is known for its immense wealth. When these companies enter the stock market, we all end up knowing how much money these leaders bring back home each year and the millions they will pay back after the IPO.

In Pinterest's S-1, which was tabled earlier in the day, we see co-founder and CEO Ben Silbermann earning $ 197,100. But it's really nothing compared to Pinterest Chief Financial Officer Todd Morgenfeld earned a base salary of $ 360,500 and free shares valued at $ 22,028,696.

We still do not know how much money executives will earn once Pinterest is made public. This is because Pinterest has not broken down share ownership.

At the same time, Lyft, another start-up related to the IPO, paid CEO, Logan Green, a salary of $ 401,529 and to the director of operations, Jon McNeill, at $ 419,231, last year. In the high-end segment, Green's share is close to $ 523 million, while that of co-founder John Zimmer is $ 346 million north.
