Brie Larson is an Academy Award-winning actress who made her entry into the MCU with the movie Captain Marvel. However, many people were not happy with this and this caused all the controversy on the casting. Many wondered if these angry "fans" would be something that Captain Marvel could overcome or if the film would eventually resonate at the box office.
But as we all know, the story of Carol Danvers and her introduction to the MCU ended well. We could see her becoming best friends forever with Nick Fury and the movie was a resounding box office success, bringing in more than a billion dollars. However, many fans thought it was strange that she was not in Avengers: Infinity War and wondered how she would fit into the cast of Avengers: Endgame. Even though she made an appearance, many people found that it was disappointing and wondering what Marvel Studios was thinking about.
