Allswell (made by Walmart) has nice mattresses for the price. The Luxe is similar to the Standard Hybrid (which is not currently on sale, but still only $ 375), with three additional layers of foam and a plush top cover. Both are hybrids with a full bed of springs individually wrapped inside to prevent motion transfer.

We also tried and liked the Allswell Supreme Hybrid Mattress ($ 738, $ 246 off), which is on sale for around $ 750. It offers a softness that you will only find when you start to touch the $ 1,200 mattresses. Redeem code TURKEY25 to benefit from this reduction.

This is another of our favorites. It’s not enough as luxurious as the Helix, but it’s a few hundred dollars less. Jeffrey Van Camp, review editor, kept coming back to this mattress during testing because it had that soft but firm feel, with just enough pressure relief.

If you are wondering what “hybrid” means

Most of the mattresses you order online are made of varying densities of memory foam, and they arrive at your door vacuum sealed, rolled up in a box. Some are just three to five layers of memory foam, but our favorite models tend to be “hybrid” mattresses. Hybrids also have hundreds (sometimes over 1,000) of individually wrapped springs sandwiched between these layers of memory foam. This gives them some of the best qualities of traditional spring mattresses and newer memory foam models. They tend to be more supportive and the coils help with air circulation so they sometimes stay a bit cooler at night.

DreamCloud Luxury Hybrid Mattress for $ 899 ($ 200 off): That’s a great price on another luxury mattress that made our honorable mention list. It has a thick pillow top similar to our favorite, the Helix Midnight Luxe. You will also receive two pillows, a set of sheets and a mattress protector.
Nectar Sleep foam mattress for $ 800 ($ 398 off): This is a good option for side sleepers, as it features a classic memory foam hug. You’ll also get two pillows, a sheet set, and a mattress protector with this offer.
Purple mattress for $ 1,049 ($ 100 off): Purple is one of our honorable mentions. It’s not as comfortable as a hybrid mattress, but it has a unique Jell-O-ey cool feel. You can save $ 200 if you also get two pillows, sheets, and a mattress protector, but all three are still expensive at $ 316 more.
Casper Hybrid Mattress for $ 1,036 ($ 259 off): Still not sure which mattress is right for you? It’s probably a safe bet. Casper is the company that helped kick-start the bed-in-a-box trend years ago, and their experience shows it. We haven’t tested the 2020 tweak of this mattress, but the 2019 model is one of our favorites. It’s comfortable, with individually wrapped springs giving it spring, support and airflow. Make sure to select the Hybrid option on the purchase page. The original all-foam model – which appears first on the page – is not as comfortable.
Leesa Original mattress for $ 849 ($ 150 off): We prefer the Leesa Hybrid to this all-foam option, but it’s a comfortable and more affordable model. We think it’s more comfortable than the original Casper.
