The Lamborghini Countach 2022 is a fast car… and a seller.

The limited-edition hybrid supercar, which has a top speed of 211 mph and is inspired by the 1970s original of the same name, sold out just days after its unveiling at the events of Monterey Car Week in California.

Lamborghini will only build 112 cars, priced at around $ 2.5 million each, and the automaker has confirmed to Top Gear that they are all in favor.

Many were likely sold out ahead of the event, as Lamborghini reached out to offer the option of purchasing one to its most loyal customers and collectors in the days leading up to it.

The two-seater scissor-door coupe features a V12 engine and electric motor powered by supercapacitors that generate a combined output of 803 horsepower.

The new Countach is based on a previous low-volume model called Sian that it made and 82 of which were also sold out at a similar price.
