The 2019 iPhones would have improved resistance to breakage, a multi-angle face ID that runs flat on the tables

BloombergMark Gurman and Debby Wu shared the same expectations for Apple's fall product line and beyond, revealing new details and rumors about upcoming iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, HomePod models and AirPods.

Starting with the iPhone, the report says that the triple-lens rear camera system widely used on high-end models will provide a wider field of view for capturing ultra-wide-angle photos and videos, in addition to improving the photos under low light. New editing tools during video recording are also expected.

According to the report, high-end iPhones will look almost identical to the current models from the front, but at least some of the colors on the back will have a new matte finish. It is interesting to note that the new iPhones should better withstand falls thanks to a "new unspecified technology of resistance to bursting".

The report says that a new multi-angle face recognition sensor that captures a wider field of view will allow users to more easily unlock the next iPhones, even when devices are flat on a table, for example.

Other features described for the 2019 iPhones include the significantly improved water resistance and the faster A13 processors with a new co-processor known internally as "AMX" or "matrix". As for the upcoming iPhone XR, the report corroborates the rumors that he would win a dual-lens rear camera and a new green color option.

As for the iPad, the report says that the 11 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be refreshed in 2019 with improved cameras and faster processors. The report also supports the rumor of a 10.2-inch iPad launched later this year.
