Rejoice, pony car fans. The first cars of a limited batch of Ford Mustang Mach 1 2021 The models are now on their way to dealerships, the automaker said Thursday. The Blue Oval said the first cars left the assembly plant and were on their way to dealerships as you read this, in addition to detailing a few other modifications to the 2021 Mustang.

We already know the whole history of building the Mustang Mach 1 bridge, but those who buy other ponies will find changes. For example, the last Mustang Shelby GT500 now includes an optional carbon fiber handling package. As the name suggests, it adds, well, carbon fiber and more material handling equipment. Specifically, the set includes 20 inch carbon fiber wheels, adjustable strut mounts, a Gurney flap and more.

I dig this yellow color a lot.

For standard Mustangs and Shelbys, buyers can also choose to coat their cars with new Grabber Yellow, Antimatter Blue and Carbonized Gray Metallic paints. The Mustang Mach 1, meanwhile, features its exclusive Fighter Jet Gray color. These aren’t major changes, of course, but it’s always fun to see Ford updating the color scheme to keep the Mustang fresh. Grabber Yellow, in particular, looks pretty good.

The official build and pricing tool is available for all Mustang models starting this morning, so you can click and build your dream 2021 Mustang, if you want.
