The 49ers would like to improve their tackle left after Joe Staley's injury.

But coach Kyle Shanahan knows these guys do not grow in trees, especially not in September.

Through Jennifer Lee Chan of NBCSportsBayArea.com, Shanahan said he was ready to join rookie Justin Skule for the moment, after Staley had a broken fibula. They were already behind, veteran striker Shon Coleman, injured his ankle and missing for the year.

Shanahan said that they would watch, but he did not seem to have any hope of finding anything.

"Always," says Shanahan. "We would like if there were options. You look at everything that is possible. I do not think there are a ton of options available. . . .

"We kept Skule because we thought it was the best available. So, that does not change now. I think Skule is much better throughout his career, but we have kept him in this team because he can help us win now. "

Shanahan said he did not want to be good striker Mike McGlinchey. So they're hoping that for now, Skule will be able to keep his job for six to eight weeks before Staley returns.

Of course, Trent Williams, of Washington, wants to go out, but nothing indicates that the damage begins to spoil.
