The 49ers will sign Coleman and increase the depth of RB

The San Francisco 49ers have signed a half-year contract with halfback Tevin Coleman for up to $ 10 million, ESPN's Adam Schefter said.

Coleman, known as the explosive threat and major game, racked up a record average of 4.8 yards per run, while he was starting 14 of the Atlanta Falcons' 16 games in 2018, while twice the Pro Bowler Devonta Freeman was operated at the end of the season. Coleman finished the season with 800 yards and four touchdowns in 167 attempts. He also caught 32 passes for 276 yards and five touchdowns.

His strength uses his speed to get out of the field. Although Coleman does not have the same type of vision and elusive ability as Freeman, the couple worked well in unison. One wonders if Coleman, 25, can be a workaholic as a usual starter, but he has no doubt about his ability to withstand a full load.

Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan coached Coleman in Atlanta. He has long admired and respected his work.

A former third-round pick in Indiana, Coleman has 29 touchdowns (18 hurriedly and 11 receiving) in 56 career games. He scored 11 touchdowns at the Atlanta Super Bowl race in 2016, including a 55-yard touchdown career in a 33-16 win against the Carolina Panthers.

For his career, Coleman has accumulated 3,350 rushing yards at 3,350 touchdowns, averaging 4.43 yards per run and 10.98 yards per receiving.

Coleman lost three fumbles in his rookie season in 2015, but he has not escaped since.
