Five-star running back Emmanuel Henderson is linked to Alabama. The Hartford (Ala.) Product of Geneva County entered the Crimson Tide on Saturday over Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, LSU and others. Henderson is Nick saban and the company’s second five-star engagement in the past two weeks.
“It feels like home there,” Henderson has said of Alabama in the past. “The facilities, the school, it’s wonderful there.”
Often, Henderson has referred to the “whole program” when thinking about what comes out of UA.
Bama has built strong inroads with Henderson and his family, led by his regional recruiter in Charles Kelly. Running backs trainer Charles huff was also heavily involved before leaving for the head coach position at Marshall. It was a seamless transition to the new running back coach Robert gillespie in the coming weeks.
At 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, Henderson is ranked second in running back and 28th overall prospect in the country, according to the 247Sports industry-generated composite rankings.
With Alabama, however, it’s more of an athletic role for which the program has pursued Henderson.
“I can always move around because I’m an athlete,” said Henderson. “I can play special teams, I can play slot catcher, wherever they need me.”
Henderson is the # 5 engagement for Alabama in the Class of 2022, moving the UA class to # 14 in the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings.

Set to become a major player with a long-term cap for the first round of the NFL Draft. “
As a junior, Henderson had 1,449 yards and 20 touchdowns.
