The 917 are here

With its twelve large flat engines, minimal aerodynamics and seemingly endless power, the 917 was Porsche's late-'60s and early-'70s experience of building terrifying machines for racing drivers. These were not really meant to win races, but to terrorize the heart of humanity. It's a little known fact about Porsche, they just wanted to do scary things and accidentally won the titles of Le Mans and Can Am.

These scary monsters arrived in Goodwood for the meeting of the members this weekend and scared everyone there with screams and big roars. Everyone escaped and the event was canceled. Click on the video to witness the horror.
