The Acadia GMC 2020 arrives with a bolder style

GMC wants to position the Acadia AT4, the latest member of its AT4 sub-brand, as a high-end luxury crossover, but not quite, able to support itself in a more difficult situation. It's equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 with 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, coupled with a dual-clutch clutch that sends power to all four wheels. 17-inch wheels are standard, while 20-inch wheels are optional.

In addition to the new exterior styling and AT4 trim, the other major asset is the introduction of an all-new 2.0-liter turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with an estimated power of 230 hp and 258 lb. ft. It will be standard on the SLT and Denali models, while the basic 2.5-liter four-cylinder will be identical to last year. A new nine-speed automatic transmission will be standard on all Acadia 2020 models and will be controlled by GMC's Electronic Precision Shift, a system that replaces the lever, pushbuttons and triggers.
