In the United States, Amazon has launched similar offers and the wait has been worth it. You can get the Paperwhite with $ 5 of credit for ebooks for only $ 84.99. The entry-level Kindle offers the same bonuses and will only cost you $ 59.99.

The Paperwhite has a brighter screen, with a higher resolution than the cheaper model (which always looks great to be honest). The Paperwhite still gets our vote, though thanks to the flush screen design and waterproof bodywork. It's ideal for reading by the pool, in the bath and for protecting yourself from spills at home or in your day bag. It's a good £ 20 less than the usual discounted price too.

This particular version of the Oasis comes with free 3G online access, no SIM card or contract required. This means that you do not need to be connected to Wi-Fi to download eBooks and audiobooks or to access other online features such as searching for words on Wikipedia .
