The Apple Shazam app updated with the new Pop Up feature, but only on Android

[ad_1]

Recently acquired by Apple, Shazam brings new features to its users, although this time, only Android users will benefit from the changes. A new Pop Up feature has just been added to Shazam for Android, which will allow users to identify songs played in third-party apps without having to leave the app. To take advantage of the new feature, you must enable new button floating that is superimposed on the screen. When the new button is enabled, you will see a persistent notification in the notification drawer, which can be used to trigger it. When you want to use Shazam to identify a song, just tap the floating Pop Up button.

Of course, you will be able to ignore the button and the persistent notification by simply dragging the button in the lower part of the screen to make it disappear. If you want the persistent notification to disappear, you must disable the feature in the Shazam settings menu or by scanning the notification and pressing Disable.

The new Pop Up feature is available in the latest version of Shazam for Android, which has already been uploaded to the Google Play Store. If you have installed the application, a new update should be available for download.
