The ASU baseball team remembers alum and comedian Brody Stevens after an apparent suicide

The Arizona State Sun Devils baseball team honored actor, comedian and former Sun Devil pitcher Brody Stevens, who died at age 48 before Saturday's game.

Stevens – his real name Steven Brody – died Friday in Los Angeles. Several reports have stated that Stevens' death was the result of an apparent suicide.

Stevens received a scholarship to play baseball at the ASU and played four games before focusing on his comedy career. He has appeared in a number of television shows and movies, including "The Hangover" and "The Hangover Part II".

His comedic companions Bob Saget and Patton Oswalt, as well as former D-backs pitcher Dan Haren and current Phillies pitcher Jake Arrieta, took the time to remember Stevens via social media.
