Audi has announced the final specifications and details of the launch of the new e-tron crossover.
The company's first fully electric standard production model will have an estimated range of 204 km by the EPA, about 90 km less than the Tesla X model.
According to Audi, average buyers of high-end vehicles average only 30 miles per day. The e-tron is able to add a range of 54 km in just 10 minutes when connected to a 150 kW charger, or 163 km in 30 minutes.
The crossover boasts up to 402 horsepower in "Boost Mode", allowing drivers to reach a speed of 100 km / h in 5.5 seconds. The X model, on the other hand, has a benchmark of zero to 60 mph of 4.7 seconds in standard form or 3.5 seconds for the Performance Edition.
The first booking holders will receive their e-tron in May. Prices start at $ 74,800, while the cheapest X model is close to $ 6,000.
