The Beatles have released a new video that pays homage to "Here Comes the Sun," written by George Harrison. This release is scheduled for the anniversary of Abbey Road, who turned 50 on Thursday.

Directed by Alasdair Brotherston and Jock Mooney of Trunk Animation, the clip features group-era photos that float in Studio Two at Abbey Road Studios, where they made this iconic album. Photographed by Linda McCartney, the images scroll past the instruments, rising above Ringo Starr's drum kit to form a gigantic golden sun.

The clip goes to the animation of the feet of the Fab Four crossing the famous road, watched by a white bird. It ends with pictures of the group's final photo shoot on May 4, 1969, almost a year before their separation in 1970. The group is in Tittenhurst Park, England, surrounded by wildflowers, on the same grounds as Berkshire, the house of Yoko Ono and John Lennon.

The video features the 2019 stereo mix of "Here Comes the Sun" from the movie Abbey Road Reissue of the 50th anniversary, released on September 27th. It was remixed by producer Giles Martin – the son of the famous Beatles producer George Martin – and engineer Sam Okell. It consists of a remix of the 17 tracks, as well as 23 recordings and intimate session demos. It is available in a variety of packages, including a deluxe box set including a hardcover book and a Blu-ray album in stereo, 5.1 surround sound and Dolby Atmos.
