To celebrate the 29th anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope, we have chosen our favorite images of the iconic space-faring observatory. From colorful nebulae to interacting galaxies, Hubble has imagined so many beautiful things in the space that it was hard to choose our favorites!
The Hubble Space Telescope was launched on April 24, 1990. Each year, on the occasion of this anniversary, the Hubble team releases a new special anniversary image. Above, the last anniversary image of the South Crab Nebula.
