As Netflix pursues its strategy to keep its subscribers intact after the debut of Apple TV + and Disney + in November, the streaming service strives to keep classic movies in their streaming library. Paul Rudd in "The Foundations of Benevolence"
Almost every Paul Rudd movie is a comedy, and it's hilarious in all of them. Netflix has a number of his comedies before he becomes Ant-Man. The foundations of benevolence is a film that he made in 2016 and that has dramatic elements.
Rudd plays a guy who faces the personal tragedy of losing his son, precipitating a career change by becoming the caregiver of a man with muscular dystrophy (Craig Roberts). They form a link when they leave together for a road trip, then meet a girl named Dot (played by Selena Gomez).
Indie very original, he made his debut on Netflix at the time when Rudd enjoyed the success of Marvel with his solo tour. The ant man and Captain America: Civil War.
Scarlett Johansson in 'Under the skin'
It's a shame that the only ScarJo movie on Netflix is Under the skin from 2014. Nevertheless, this is a good example of how Johansson is magnetic on the big screen, whatever his roles. Here she plays an alien who comes to Glasgow, Scotland, to chase away the men.
