The most start-up Chinese companies are those that are making major breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, according to a new report from LinkedIn.
Artificial intelligence companies that take the lead in the field of autonomous driving are among the most popular companies in the country, occupying six of the top ten places in LinkedIn's Best Startup list, 2019.
But it's the Internet giant and the ByteDance online content platform that are among China's most popular start-ups this year.
To be on this year's list, companies were to be private companies, seven years old or younger, with at least 50 employees. They were then ranked based on user feedback from LinkedIn on four criteria: job growth; engagement with employees; interest in the work; and ability to attract top talent from leading employers.
