“Scam 1992” is one of the successful web series made in India last year. The series is based on the biggest scam to ever hit the country. Stockbroker Harshad Mehta took the stock market to dizzying heights and suffered a catastrophic fall. Now the movie “The Big Bull” is ready to be released on the same subject. Abhishek Bachchan plays Hemanth (based on Harshad Mehta) in the film. “ The Big Bull ” was supposed to hit screens, but Disney + Hotstar purchased the broadcast rights to the film for direct digital release. The Cinematic Unit launched the trailer today.
Going through the trailer, the film will tell the rags-to-riches story of a young Gujarathi who rose to control the stock market. The film traces his journey amid struggles and rivals to become India’s first billionaire. Ileana is also part of the film as a journalist. It is Ileana who denounces the scam through her investigation. The film may not impress those who have watched Scam 1992 before. The trailer for the film sparks curiosity around the film and it is necessary to see if the film stays close to reality.
Nikita Dutta plays Abhishek Bachchan’s wife in the film. Sumit Vyas, Ram Kapoor, Sohum Shah, Sanjeev Pandey and others are part of the film.
Directed by Kookie Gulati, “The Big Bull” is produced by Ajay Devgn, Anand Pandit Vikrant Sharma and Kumar Mangat Pathak. The film will air on Disney + Hotstar from April 8, 2021.
