The NFL 2019 draft is over, and while everyone is focused on the winners and losers of the weekend, we will not be bored with all that gibberish. Here is our look at all the losers of the 2019 project.

New York Giants

I'm starting to think that Dave Gettleman may have no idea what he's doing. The Giants believe they have secured Duke's quarterback position at Daniel Jones, but have chosen him to be 6th in the overall standings, while no one would ever win so much. The Giants probably could have waited for their second choice (# 17) to choose it. In the meantime, they entrusted Dwayne Haskins with the choice of the Scouts Inc. player ranked sixth among the best callers available.

Look, if you're a big fan of Jones, fine, I'm not going to argue with you. He could become a good NFL quarterback, but he does not look like a future star. The giants could have traded and stored assets, or meet a greater need at No. 6.

For the rest of their high selections, Dexter Lawrence was a solid choice in 17th place and Deandre Baker (30th choice) is a perfect half corner. But when a team has three first-round picks, you expect her to do something monumental or in any way that changes the franchise. New York did not accomplish that.

The third-round pick, Oshane Ximines, has a positive potential, but he must grow and face a big jump in competition. Fourth round, Julian Love is a versatile corner without much potential. In New York, New York took a decisive victory by winning Darius Slayton. He has elite top speed, but he has to evolve a lot as a road racer and he does not have good hands.

Despite a ton of choice, I am not convinced that the Giants have really improved in this year's project. It is a massive indictment of the front office.
