The early signing period began with a bang for the Duke basketball program.

By signing up as Duke’s future basketball player, O’Dea’s main striker (Washington), Paolo Banchero, formalized his August commitment.

Doing so within hours of the start of the early signing period of November 11-18 on Wednesday – just a day before Banchero’s 18th birthday – the 6-foot-9, 235-pound five-star from Seattle suggested he There had been absolutely no hesitation in his decision.

And in doing so, as he was dressed in Blue Devil gear during the ceremony in his high school gymnasium, Banchero made it clear where his heart is right now: in Durham.

Who else will sign with Duke Basketball before November 18?

According to Branham, Duke will see a signing of his other 2021 award to date on Wednesday night in small forward AJ Griffin from Archbishop Stepinac (NY), a chiseled five-star who boasts of a No.6 composite ranking.

Additionally, Krzyzewski and his team are still awaiting answers from three five-star targets: IMG center (Florida) Charles Bediako, range goaltender Paul VI (Virginia) Trevor Keels and small Hamilton (Wisconsin) forward Patrick Baldwin Jr.

Of the three, Bediako is the most likely to reveal a pick before next Wednesday, but he’s the least likely to pick the Blue Devils, as Alabama is the consensus 247Sports Crystal Ball’s favorite. While Duke unanimously owns the Crystal Ball head for Keels and Baldwin Jr., insiders tend not to plan or announce this month.
