MEDFORD, Oregon (AP) – Police confirmed that a body found in April in an Oregon home was that of the missing man, Dennis Day, who was an original member of Disney's "The Mickey Mouse Club" club. .

The Oregon Medical Examiner's Office identified the body, although they could not use dental records or DNA due to the condition leftover, Oregon State Police said Thursday. Police are still investigating Day's death.

Her husband, Ernie Caswell, said that he had disappeared in July. He was suffering from memory loss and was in the hospital when he made this statement.

Day's car, July 26, was found on the coast of Oregon. A missing person's report stated that Day had "unusually" left his dog with a friend on the day of his disappearance.

Day's body was found at his home in Phoenix, Oregon in early April.
