The Borderlands 3 Escape game displays a Destiny-esque score and new gun stats

Borderlands 3 must play correctly this Thursday, April 29, but Gearbox accidentally shared an excerpt of the game via Twitch. This snippet was deleted quickly, but not before it was archived on Reddit.

You can watch the full 26 seconds clip here thanks to the user Reddit JaumDX. It is very short and aimed mainly at explaining the recently announced extension of ECHOcast Twitch – which will allow Twitch viewers to win loot before the end of the match – but it contains some new information nuggets.

What sets me apart most is the addition of Scores of items to weapons and equipment. Borderlands parties have always been good at indicating whether the new weapons are better than the ones you have equipped, but they have never had a literal score before. After watching this clip, I would not be surprised that Borderlands 3 uses an object score system similar to Division 2& # 39; Gear Score & # 39; or Destiny 2The power level of, with the level of your character serving as the average of your object score. However, the element note of Borderlands 3 could also be only an indicator of the quality of an element.

Speaking of new statistics: the firearms seen in this clip all have a manipulation statistic, also new in Borderlands. Again, I would not be surprised if it works like the Destiny 2 treatment, which determines how quickly weapons can be prepared and stored. The clip also shows sniper rifles that can switch between two types of elemental damage. Although we have already seen multi-element weapons, the ability to manually switch items is new.

Likewise, the weapon equipped in the clip shows an automatic firing mode in the lower right corner of the HUD. This indicator is located next to a d-pad button prompt. Therefore, I'm willing to bet that some weapons will also change shooting modes, such as automatic mode to semi-automatic mode.

This is not bad information for 26 seconds, and I'm sure we'll learn a lot more tomorrow. In the meantime, check out our Borderlands 3 trailer failure for more hidden details.
