Finally, Lee Stempniak's limbo is over!
The veteran forward, who has been training regularly with the Bruins for ages, has signed a one – year contract with the team.
According to the Bruins, he was assigned to Providence, probably until the lifting of the list of deadlines for exchanges.
Stempniak recently signed a test deal with the P-Bruins and is now officially in the home stretch.
He had 10 points 19 games for the Bruins in 2016.
It's been months that he hangs out with the Bruins, it's nice to see him rewarded by a market.
He must clear the waivers, but assuming he succeeds, do not be surprised to see him make some in-depth appearances with the big club in the far right.
