Willson Contreras scored a home goal late in the 15th round on Saturday to give the Chicago Cubs a 2-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers at Wrigley Field in the rain. The brewer came straight from Burch Smith brewers.

He made his fifth quality start of the season, equaling Jose Quintana for the lead of the team. The Cubs players helped Hamel by playing a double game in each run from the second to the fifth. Hamels lowered his effective rate of return from 3.38 to 3.08 by not making any decision.
Hernan Perez opened the scoring with two outs in the fifth with his fourth circuit of the season, a strike to the left-center.
The Cubs tied the match at the end of the round thanks to a great strike from Bote. With two outs, he hit a single field with a short stop. Albert Almora Jr. doubled to center right of medium depth. Bote did not stop going home and slid around the mark of receiver Yasmani Grandal.
