As if it wasn’t clear enough at the end of season three, season four by netflix Cobra Kai will bring back the signature event of The Karate Kid universe: The All Valley Karate Championship. Tthe showdown begins in december and the first images have arrived.
Today, Netflix unveiled a fresh take on Cobra Kai season four in a very brief teaser that revealed the month of the show’s release. It’s partly commercial for the big tournament (which we last saw at the end of the first season and in the first and third Karate kid movies before that) and a super fast editing part of the first images of the new season. Either way, the trailer has around eight new shots in three seconds. It’s not a lot, but it’s super awesome. Check it out.
We get new looks every main characters, most of whom just have different hairstyles. More, that grim glimpse of John Kreese (Martin Kove) who ultimately broke so badly that he sort of teamed up with once mortal enemies Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do are one. Then a glimpse of the much more awesome venue in All Valley, and a bunch of quick shots, mostly college students working out, Johnny and Daniel practicing, dragging and finally, that unforgettable ponytail.
Because don’t forget, not only Cobra Kai season four bringing back the All Valley karate championship is bringing back the super villain of it all The Karate Kid, Terry Silver, played by Thomas Ian Griffith. There is a lot to be said about him and, in fact, we have already done it. Click here to read how huge it is for this season. And honestly it looks like it’s gonna be the biggest Cobra Kai season again. This is the first season after the series new popularity due to switch to Netflix and you have to imagine the creators are ready to get body bags, sweep legs, and a crane kick to the top.
Cobra Kai season 4 will be here in December.
