The coffee break: news and links of Tottenham Hotspur for Monday 6 May

Hello everyone!

What a weird, strange season, but it's not over yet! Anyway, I'll change the subject.

Hiking day

Some of you may have heard of it, but the Kentucky Derby took place this weekend and a horse named Maximum Security won, but he was disqualified, allowing a horse named Country House to # 39; s win. This suits me, because even though Country House is not the best name for a horse, Maximum Security is a truly horrible name for a horse for several reasons that I decided not to spell.

You've probably already noticed that the only thing that worries me about horse racing (and / or horses in general) are naming practices, and I can not say I'm impressed by the names of the horses more competitive. Of course, over the weekend, I had a conversation with my younger sister on public transit and I accidentally started thinking about names of horses that I do not want and that I will not have. never. (I have nothing against horses, I'm just not interested in having one in my life.) I decided to keep thinking while I walked.

  • A glass of milk (I happen to drink a glass of milk while writing this.)
  • Diving Header (There are probably some other football terms to add as good names, Short Corner, maybe?)
  • Bed
  • Balloon Sword (accidentally wounded by a stab the other day, but somehow healed)
  • Fast Guy (suggestion of a sister, it would be funny if the horse was slow)
  • My little pony (original)
  • This is what I call the horse
  • Fair distribution (the other sister suggested this one

The real winner, though:

I would definitely recommend trying a kimchi quesadilla and loving the way the words sound next to each other. I bet they would sound good even when the commentators shouted for joy as a horse was spinning at the speed of arrival.

tl; dr: brainstorming session on the names of horses.
