According to reports, about 25 people were injured – including four hospitalized – after the collapse of a metal barricade on Saturday night at the Seattle Bumbershoot Music Festival.

About 3,000 people were at the Seattle Center for a live music night featuring Jai Wolf and other performers when the collapse occurred, Seattle Q13 FOX reported.

Some of the concert's assistants hurried against the barricade, causing her to give in, security officer David Cuerpo, the city's fire department's information officer, told the security station.

Because of the size of the crowd and the initial uncertainty about the number of people injured, the emergency response was more important than necessary, Cuerpo said.

"We mobilized more resources just to make sure we had the appropriate capacity to treat and serve our patients here," he said.

The four people treated at Harborview Medical Center were in stable condition and had minor injuries, Cuerpo told The Seattle Times.

Wolf, who was on stage at the time, finished shooting after the incident, the newspaper reported.
