“The Crown” has released a new teaser for Season 4 featuring glimpses of Princess Diana, played by Emma Corrin, and revealed when the Netflix show returns.

“Something as important as the monarchy simply cannot fail,” says Olivia Colman, who plays Queen Elizabeth II, in a dramatic overture.

Gillian Anderson, who plays Margaret Thatcher, the UK’s first female Prime Minister, also makes a cameo appearance in the preview.

Most of the teaser focuses on Princess Diana’s overexposure in the UK press and her 1981 marriage to Prince Charles, played by Josh O’Connor.

At the end of the teaser, Netflix announces: “The Crown” returns on November 15th.

In July, series creator Peter Morgan announced via Twitter that the Netflix show would be renewed for a 6th season in order to flush out more details from the time of the Princess of Wales.

“Charles and Diana’s wedding was three Brexits and three COVIDs combined in one, right? series creator Peter Morgan told Esquire earlier this month.

“Each is defined in one form or another according to its reaction to events which [the royal family] inflicted on us, “Morgan said.” And at the heart of all that was this marriage. I think what is so sad is that they were a dream team. It could have been so fantastic.
