The death of Apple’s Touch Bar is long overdue

I won’t hope, but it looks like Apple finally get rid of the silly and much hated Touch Bar of his 2021 MacBook Pro.

According to trusted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple plans to replace the Touch Bar present on its current MacBook crop and instead revert to physical keys (among others) for the MacBook lineup. I like to think that this long-requested change is due to exact suggestion I made in my review of the 13 inch MacBook Pro last year. (Yes, I take the credit for it.)

Either way, the Touch Bar is one of the most unnecessary additions to the MacBook Pro, a feature that Apple stupidly first introduced in 2016. Of course. looks cool, but it’s super unintuitive – adjusting things like volume and brightness requires extra taps, and it’s not even optimized for all apps. Plus, unless you go through the process of changing your MacBook’s settings and customizing the Touch Bar, your life will be filled with a constant series of accidental triggers from Apple’s other unnecessary innovation: Siri. .

Fortunately, I am not the only one who feels this. The minute the news broke, people flocked to Twitter to express their disdain for the alleged death of this stupid function.

I 100% agree that the Touch Bar is a “trash can”.

I told you, none of the third-party apps are even well optimized for this.

In addition to describing the Touch Bar as “trash”, it can also be classified under “gadgets”.

See? I’m not the only one who hates this thing. Hoping that 2021 brings good news: the death of the Touch Bar.
