The details of Redmi 7 disclosed on Geekbench just before its debut in China

Redmi, the sub-brand of Chinese phone maker Xiaomi, will hold a special event in Beijing on Monday, March 18 for its latest device, the Redmi 7. Dedicated to being the manufacturer's next business model for the Chinese market, the Redmi 7 appeared in the Geekbench database, offering a quick overview of what to expect.

Although the Redmi 7 reference list confirms a number of expected and previously revealed specifications, the exact processor used is unfortunately mysterious. Geekbench reports that the Android headset is using Qualcomm's "msm8953" chip, which corresponds to the Snapdragon 625. Previous leaks indicated that the Redmi 7 would feature the Snapdragon 632, slightly more powerful, saw Geekbench mix the chips before, as with the list Motorola G7.
