The Detroit Tigers have no win in their most embarrassing camp

DETROIT – The Detroit Tigers have just completed their most embarrassing position since before 1950.

Technically, Detroit has played only 0-9 at home, but the team hangs in the seventh in a suspended match that will end in September. It is likely that it will be a 0-10 home stand.

According to Baseball Reference, the Tigers have not had a home game against at least 10 games since the 1950 season.

Not only did the Tigers lose every game of this home game, but they did it embarrassingly. They were outclassed 73-24 in 10 games, including last-place Oakland and the Miami Marlins, who came to Detroit with the worst record of any baseball game.

With the help of the Tigers, athletes are now in third place and the Marlins have overtaken the Baltimore Orioles. But when they arrived in Detroit, both teams were in last place.

The Houston Astros series was more understandable as it pitted a World Series competitor against a young team in reconstruction. Detroit lost all three games by 24-6.

Oakland outshot the Tigers 33-9 in four games.

The Marlins games were much closer, but the Tigers finally lost all three games against a team of 13 to 31, the worst in the majors. Detroit missed the track on Wednesday and Thursday.

Thursday's game looked like a possible victory after Matt Boyd pitched six scoreless innings and the pen handed Shane Green the ball with a 2-0 lead in the ninth. A mistake at third base and a botched double play gave the Marlins two more outs. Garrett Cooper scored a big slam in the Tigers marker for a 5-2 win.

It's been more than 45 years since the Tigers went without a win in a 10-game home match. The Tigers had two home games without a win of eight and nine games in 1996, a home game from 0 to 9 in 1975 and a home game from 1 to 10-1 in 1956, which included nine straight defeats, one tie and then another.

The Tigers played 11 consecutive home games without a win in 1953, but in fact ended the home game 3-14-1.

The Tigers now have 18-29, only 4.5 games ahead of the Orioles for the worst baseball record and two games on the Kansas City Royals for last place in the Central Division of the American League.
