The director of Destiny 3 discusses the rumor of the open world

[ad_1]

Earlier this year, a rumor claimed to know certain details about Destiny 3 surfaced and quickly began to go around. One of the main claims of the group was that the third game in the series of snipers will have a vast open world that will mix and match the elements PvP and PvE. Of course, it would be a big difference between what the series has done so far. That said, it seems that this rumor – or at least this specific claim – is inaccurate, which will please fans who are concerned that Bungie may dramatically change the series with the next installment, his first installment since. his break with Activision.

As you know, Bungie has not officially recognized Destiny 3although it is certainly under development right now. That said, in a recent blog post, series director Luke Smith spoke about the franchise in depth, including diving into his past and future. And at a time of publication, it seems that Smith is lowering more or less the rumor that the shooter has an open future. According to Smith, Bungie's goal in the series is to have one world in evolution. However, that does not literally mean a single big open world.

"That's why the second element of the vision is a unique and evolving world (to clarify, this changing world does not mean that there is only one destination on the director – this is not our destination!). "

For those who do not know, when Smith mentions "one destination on the director", it refers to a single open world. And so, when Smith says that it's not the direction that Bungie is taking, it more or less confirms that there will not be a single big open world in Destiny 3.

Unfortunately, Smith does not disclose more details or tips for Destiny 3, according to rumors, would be released next year, but for now, this seems unlikely unless Bungie unveils the game very soon.

Whatever it is, as always, do not hesitate to leave a comment or two or contact me on Twitter @Tyler_Fischer_ and let me know there. What would you like to see Bungie do with Destiny 3?

Thank you, GameRant.
