Division 2 developer Massive Entertainment is looking to fix the game’s recently reported graphics issue on PlayStation 5 this week. For those not in the loop, the loot shooter is missing a key visual feature when played on PS5 via backward compatibility. Specifically, there is a complete lack of volumetric lighting, which makes the game look a bit flat.
Fortunately, it looks like the problem should be resolved very soon. There will be a three-hour maintenance window for The Division 2 on February 16, which promises a fix for the missing volumetric lighting on PS5.
