It's a decision that divides players.

The next Dark Hours raid in Division 2 will require teams of eight pre-formed players, despite Ubisoft's promise of match-making for all game activities.

Speaking to a fan on Twitter, Alexandre Guenounou, who works in the marketing team at The Division 2, said: "There is no matchmaking, you have to team up at through lists of clans, their lists of friends or by inviting other players into the social spaces of the game before launching the raid. "

This message goes against this tweet of February 15 this year, which explained that "Twinning is provided for every gaming activity and every level of difficulty."

Naturally, some players are not happy with the situation. He places Division 2 in the same camp as Destiny 2, which requires predefined teams for his raids. Many players who rely on online matching are therefore excluded from the activity. Given the scale of the design of a raid, it may mean missing some of the best content in the game.

Guenounou promised to meet with the Ubisoft Massive team in order to "provide a complete overview and explanation". This is more like an explanation of why linking is needed for the raid, rather than changing the requirements of the pre-built teams. We will simply have to wait and see what the results of this discussion are.

While this news is not welcome for those who rely on matchmaking, better news may be found in the fact that Ubisoft has canceled its plan to increase the cap of the Division 2 Gear Score just before the fall. of the raid. This has kept many players ready for the raid, rather than having to get by quickly the week before the launch of Dark Hours. Division 2 was the best-selling game in March. There are so many players to team up with. Let's hope people find an easy way to get together. And if you're thinking of joining, check out our article on The Division 2.
