The Eagles' 2019 NFL schedule includes 5 games in prime time

[ad_1]

There is no San Francisco on the schedule. No Seattle. No Denver, Phoenix or London.

From the traveler's point of view, it's not a good program.

That does not mean the Philadelphians will not pack more airplanes and hotels to see their favorite team on the road.

So book these flights to Green Bay, Buffalo and Minneapolis and hope it does not snow!

With the NFL calendar on Wednesday (see full schedule of Eagles)This is what awaits you when you visit one of the cities (or more) of the nine cities where the Eagles will be in the upcoming season.

Week 2 – Atlanta, Sunday, September 15th at 8:20 pm

Why you should go

Not only a modern and cosmopolitan city, but also a city that played a major role in the civil war and in the civil rights movement of the 1960s.

3 places to visit

1. World of Coca-Cola, 2. Georgia Aquarium, 3. Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site

Travel advice

Atlanta's MARTA rail system connects the airport easily to the city center and Buckhead tourist area to the north of the city.

Week 4 – Green Bay, Thursday, September 26 at 20:20.

Why you should go

This small community of just 100,000 people is a unique and historic NFL destination.

3 places to visit

1. Lambeau Field, 2. The Outagamie County Historical Society in Appleton, not far away, 3. The National Railroad Museum in Ashwaubenon (most of Lambeau's parking lots are located in Ashwaubenon).

Travel advice

The Lambeau Stadium is located in the middle of a residential area and the roads can be extremely congested. If you go, leave earlier than ever for a sporting event.

Week 6 – Minnesota, Sunday, October 13, 1pm.

Why you should go

Because who does not want to visit the site of the greatest moment in the recent history of the Eagles.

3 places to visit

1. Minneapolis Institute of Art, 2. Minnehaha Regional Park (if the waterfall is not frozen), 3. Mall of America

Travel advice

You will get lost in the Mall of America. I promise. The place is ridiculously huge. The mall, the largest in the world, has kiosks in all the halls where you can actually print instructions step by step in the store, restaurant or car park you are looking for. If you do not use kiosks, you will not find your way and you will be stuck for the rest of your life in a giant mall.

Week 7 – Dallas, Sunday, October 20th at 8:20 pm.

Why you should go

Because it is not the homeland of the Cowboys, Dallas is a very beautiful city.

3 places to visit

1. Dealey Plaza Museum, 2. Dallas Museum of Art, 3. Texas Discovery Gardens

Travel advice

The Dallas metropolitan area is huge. From Mesquite, on the east side, to Fort Worth, on the west side, it can easily take an hour and a half without traffic. Always allow enough time to go where you are going.

Week 8 – Buffalo, Sunday, October 27 at 1 pm

Why you should go

Honestly? You should not go there. But if you really want to visit Buffalo, you will have more power!

3 places to visit

1. Niagara Falls, 2. Waterfront / HarborCenter, 3. Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site.

Travel advice

If you do not want to fly, you can drive – if weather permits – from downtown Philly to Buffalo in about six and a half hours.

Week 13 – Miami, Sunday December 1st, 13h.

Why you should go

Because in a season in which the Eagles go to Buffalo, Green Bay and Minneapolis, Miami should be a little hot when the Eagles go there.

3 places to visit

1. South Beach, 2. Miami Beach, 3. Everglades National Park.

Travel advice

Before booking your flight, take a look at the Fort Lauderdale Airport and Miami Airport. It's smaller, nicer, easier to navigate and closer to Hard Rock Stadium and really not far from Miami's beaches and attractions.

Week 15 – Washington, Sunday December 15th, 1pm

Why you should go

Because it has more museums (most of them free) and historical sites than anywhere in the country.

3 places to visit

1. The Lincoln Memorial, 2. The Washington Monument, 3. The Smithsonian Museums.

Travel advice

Do not drive. Take the train and use Washington's extensive metro network to get around the city and nearby cities.

Week 17 – East Rutherford, Sunday, December 29, 1 pm

Why you should go

Because the Eagles always win. The Eagles are 10-2 against the Giants at the Meadowlands since 2008

3 places to visit

OK, it's a challenge, but here we are: 1. Shops across the NJ Turnpike in Secaucus, 2. Nearby, Jersey City is a growing and bustling city, as well as the main downtown square -City at the end of Christopher Columbus Blvd. – J. Owen Grundy Park – Offers breathtaking views of the Manhattan River, 3. The Aviation Hall of Fame and the Teterboro Museum, nearby.

Travel advice

If you take the NJ Turnpike towards the MetLife Stadium, be sure to stay on the left just after Exit 14, and head to the so-called Western Spur towards the stadium, instead of the East, which will take you to Hoboken Tunnel Lincoln.

Preseason, Game 2 – Jacksonville, Thursday August 15th at 7pm.

Why you should go

It's Florida, and many of Jacksonville's attractions are water related. Beaches, water parks, fishing, cruises, etc. But Jacksonville is also a real hub for art galleries and museums. And it's only two hours drive from Disney World.

3 places to visit

1. Jacksonville Zoo, 2. Jacksonville Museum of Contemporary Art, 3. Historic Amelia Island

Travel advice

TIAA Bank Field, where the Eagles played the 2004 Super Bowl, is located in downtown Jacksonville, within walking distance of many hotels. If you are just playing the game, there is no reason to rent a car.
