We all know Howie Roseman loves to do trades. Since joining GM in 2010, he has completed four transactions involving Eagles' first-round picks. Two at the top, two at the bottom.
The Eagles are currently 25 years old and have the opportunity to trade one way or the other this year.
Roseman talked about the exchange as a way to get a "difference maker" from the first round. Some possibilities this year could include Christian Wilkins, Clelin Ferrell, Cody Ford, etc.
So, if the Eagles are interested in trading until tonight, we have an idea of what might be available.
I am told that the teams showed the most interest for the negotiation: #Jets (3) #The Lions (8) #Dauphins (13) #Seahawks (21/29) #Rams (31).

Let's see each of these choices individually:
Jets at 3
This does not happen. The Eagles would like to have a player like Quinnen Williams, but the jump from 25 to 3 is so huge that they could not do it. Well, they could do it, but for several first-round picks, among others. Think of all the time the Eagles had to trade to go from 13 to 8 against 2 in 2016.
Lions at 8
It's a little more feasible than getting into the top 5, but getting into the top 10 is going to be very expensive too. If you move to the provisional value board, the eighth choice is worth 1,400 points, while the Eagles' 25th is worth 720. Counting 700 points is no easy task and Lions may lose much more than they do. would not want it, so the Eagles should do it.
It would be a jump of 17 places. Last year, the Bills were traded from 21 to 12, but that's a player who sent Cordy Glenn to Cincinnati. The Eagles have a few players who are tradable, but not a player of the left tackle type.
Without a player, it would take another first-round pick to be done. In 2017, the chefs exchanged to take Patrick Mahomes. They went from 27 to 10 in an exchange with Buffalo, a jump of 17 places. The Chiefs got the number 10, but the Bills got the first round the following year, the number 27 and the third round pick, the number 91. Are you ready to give up that much jump?
Dolphins at 13 years old
OK, we are now entering the most realistic category. Reaching 13 should not be as expensive as the top 10, but it would still cost a lot. This choice is worth 1,150 points, which gives a difference of 430 points to be filled. Based on the table of values, a second round choice (# 53 is worth 370) and a fourth could do it.
But that would be a 12-seater compromise for the Dolphins, so maybe they would like more than that.
Last year, the Saints traded 27 to 14 points with the Packers (a 13-point exchange) and the Saints had yet to give up their first round in 2019. The Saints got the number 14 and the Packers the number 27., a fifth round (147) and the choice of first round 2019 of the Saints.
The Eagles should really want one player to make that jump because he could pick a first-round pick or more.
Seahawks at 21/29
We are talking now. An exchange of 25 to 21 years seems much more likely and very possible. Do not break your piggy bank to get four places and if it's an exchange to find a guy like Wilkins or Ford, it probably would be worth it for Roseman. And without a lot of choice this year, the Seahawks should be eager to accumulate more.
According to the value graph, there is a difference of 80 points between the 21st choice and the 25th choice.
Last year, the Titans went from 25 to 22 in an exchange with the Ravens, so it's pretty similar. The Titans did not even have to give up a choice, they just made two exchanges of choice.
The Titans have: n ° 22 and 215 (sixth round)
The Ravens got: # 25 and # 125 (fourth round)
The Titans won three places in the first round to reach 90 places in the third day.
Based on this trade last year, the Eagles may be offering numbers 25 and 127 for numbers 21 and 159 (the Seahawks' lowest choice this season). If the Seahawks do not accept that, just ask a fifth or sixth player next year and call the day.
Rams at age 31
I've left this here in case the Eagles would be interested in coming back to the first round. There could be a team eager to qualify for this spot if one of the best QBs slips and is still available, a bit like the exchange between the Eagles and the first round last year.
But it's a decent job to watch in case the Eagles would like to go from 53 to 31. Last year, it was trade:

So if the Eagles wanted to go back to the first round in an exchange with the Rams, it would probably cost a second round pick, number 57 this year, a second round next year, and then an extra incentive by the after. to pick swap or a late turn.
