The Eagles occupy one of the two openings of their training team

The Philadelphia Eagles have reinstated Greg Ward in their practice team, according to an official announcement from the team.

The Eagles released Ward earlier this week to promote half-forward Craig James in the lineup. The Eagles needed another corner and Ronald Darby should miss "a few games" because of a thigh injury. Ward was no longer needed on the list with Alshon Jeffery returning to the game this week.

Ward has only recorded two offensive shots and 13 special shots during his NFL debut last Sunday. Unless other injuries occur in the receivers, these may well be the only clichés taken by Ward with the team all season.

The Eagles still have an available spot in the training team after signing Ward. The team may seek to fill this position sometime before the fifth week match in Philadelphia against the New York Jets.
