According to a report by Jason La Canfora of CBS, the Philadelphia Eagles are "in the process of acquiring" the Dolphins club defense system, Minkah Fitzpatrick, along with five other teams:
Minkah Fitzpatrick's trade will probably be completed by tomorrow. The dolphins were hoping to get a first-round value for him. Hear WSH, DAL, KC, PIT, PHI and SEA at the same time. Offers are in progress

This is not the only report connecting Fitzpatrick to the Eagles. According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, "Philadelphia is one of the teams that have shown interest."
In an article last week, we reviewed the pros and cons of the Eagles doing business with Fitzpatrick. However, if he is ready to play a diversified role in the defense of the Eagles, which he would apparently deprive himself of in Miami, he would be a fantastic fit. Fitzpatrick could be a third security with an important role in the first year, with security work starting in 2020 and beyond.
If the Eagles were to negotiate a contract for Fitzpatrick, it would probably be the end of the Andrew Sendejo era in Philadelphia. Sendejo had a tough first series against Washington Week 1, when he dropped a long touchdown to Vernon Davis. He was also at least partly responsible for a long touchdown Sunday night in front of Calvin Ridley.
"Value of the first round" seems a little rich, but if it means a second round choice and a role actor, I think it's a worthwhile player.
