The Patriots are receiving a further increase in their squad even before free agency begins, as the eight of the club’s top eight opt-outs prepare to play in 2021, a league source confirmed on Saturday.
In addition to previously confirmed returns from veterans Dont’a Hightower, Patrick Chung and Marcus Cannon, the squad will once again welcome Brandon Bolden, Danny Vitale, Matt LaCosse, Marqise Lee and Najee Toran.
