OLATHE, Kan. (AP) – The former fiancée of Tyreek Hill, the recipient of the sentence, asked to prove that he was the father of her newborn twins and to demand that he pay child support.

Kansas City Star reports that Crystal Espinal filed a petition Thursday in the Johnson County District Court in Kansas. His petition also aims to establish a period of parental supervision for Hill.

The chiefs suspended Hill on April 25 for allegations that his 3-year-old son was ill-treated, which Hill denies. The District Attorney General said in June that an investigation was no longer open because he could not prove who had hurt the boy.

Online court records did not indicate that Hill had a lawyer in the paternity case. The chiefs did not immediately return a phone message early Friday to request a comment.
