The remains of more than 2,200 unborn children were found at the home of the former Indiana abortion doctor, who died earlier this month in Illinois, according to reports. reported.
The discovery was made by members of the family of Dr. Ulrich Klopfer, who died on September 3rd. Family members searched Klopfer's business after his death, reported the Indianapolis FOX 59 report.
There is no evidence that abortions were performed at the private residence, said the Will County Sheriff's Office (Illinois) in a statement.

Previously, Klopfer was working at the South Bend Women's Pavilion in Independence, according to the report. The house where the remains were found is located in Will County, Illinois.

According to FOX 59, Klopfer's medical license was suspended in 2015 after being accused of failing to report the abortion of a 13-year-old girl.
The Will County Sheriff's Office has opened an investigation into this, reported WSBT-TV of South Bend. The county coroner's office has taken possession of the mortal remains, the sheriff's office announced in a press release.
