The fate of Daenerys is the biggest plot of the Game of Thrones & # 39;

Spoilers below for the finale of the "Game of Thrones" series.

"Game of Thrones" is over and Daenerys Targaryen is dead. But is she?

Before you roll your eyes, fans of the series love the conspiracy theories that characters are not really dead. Plenty thought that Jaime and Cersei Lannister had managed to escape from a castle that fell on them in "The Bells" of Season 8 until we saw their bodies in the finale of the series.

It is natural to think about mortality, as this series is known for its pretense. (Remember Arya being stung and falling into the water in Season 6, or Jaime falling into the water in "The Loot of War" of Season 7?)

But whether or not writers wanted this, the end of the story is ambiguous. Of course, Jon stabbed her. She is definitely dead.

Nevertheless, there is an important ground hole, and it is the existence of the Red Priests. It has been established that they have the power to resurrect people – see Jon Snow and Beric Dondarrion. It was also established that they were just as interested in Daenerys as in Jon. Do you remember Season 6, when Red Priestess Kinvara (Ania Bukstein) came forward to establish she was part of the Dany team?

This scene was never revisited and Kinvara did not show up again. In addition, it was never mentioned that she was dead. She stays somewhere in Essos.

With other characters like Jaime and Cersei, the Red Priests have never been part of their story. So, the show did not invite us to see this as a possibility. But for Daenerys, it has been. If history wanted us to accept his death as a definitive end, someone should have said something like: "Too bad the Red Priests are all dead!"

Ignoring the "Cursed Child" game, there's a reason why JK In Harry Potter's novels, Rowling conveniently destroyed the time turners – because it was too big a response to the question "Why does that solve the problem?" he not all the problems? "By crushing them, they eliminate this possibility.

If "Game of Thrones" wanted us to stop considering the resurrection, we had to kill the Red Priests. And that was not done. It did not destroy Dany's body either, but rather her dragon took her away.

What's stopping him from taking her to Kinvara?

To our knowledge, the red priests are still present and some of them are still part of the Dany team. So, the chance of his resurrection is not so much a conspiracy theory as it is a logic, based on facts of this world. It's part of the story he seems to be asking us to ignore now. Like many other intrigues of the season, this is something that the series "has somehow forgotten". Suppose the red priests never care about Dany, this scene with Kinvara never took place.

But since when do you know a fan of "Game of Thrones" to ignore something? Whether the authors want it or not (this is probably not the case), the end is ambiguous.

And if Dany came back, she would not be too happy with Jon Snow.
