Fans of & # 39; Game of Thrones & # 39; furious after the series finale did not meet expectations

Of the five projects under development, HBO has only confirmed that only one had received a pilot order.

Clarkson was hired to lead the pilot.
Unfortunately, the pilot project is still too early in development to share real details. However, the Oscar-nominated actress, Naomi Watts, has apparently taken the lead role. Previously, Deadline had announced that she would play a "charismatic social figure hiding a dark secret".

"We started with four, then five," Martin wrote in a May 4 message. "One of these has been set aside, I must understand, and of course Jane's pilot is now moving to the film. But that does not mean that others are dead. Three other "Game of Thrones" prequels, which take place over different periods and feature different characters and scenarios, are still in development. All that I am told is that we could film at least one additional driver, and perhaps more than one, in the years to come. We have a whole world and tens of thousands of years of history to play with. But that's the TV, so nothing is certain.
