The first new Apple game in 10 years: Warren Buffett's Paper Wizard

Apple has developed and launched a game on the iOS App Store, which MacRumors says the company has not done yet since 2008.

The game in question is Warren Buffett's paper assistant, a free game named after one of the company's prominent investors and responsible for launching newspapers from Buffett's hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California.

The concept plays in a short excerpt played during the recent visit of the Apple CEO to Omaha, where he and Buffett are thinking about an application to develop, and Warren Buffett's paper assistant is the result.

While the App Store lists Wildlife Design Inc. as a vendor, MacRumors points out that the terms of the app indicate that it is copyrighted, maintained and operated by Apple. A Business Insider spokesperson also confirmed that the game had been jointly developed by Apple. That qualifies Warren Buffett's paper assistant the first version launched by Apple since the publication in 2008 of Texas Holdem.
