Scorsese's long-time gangster epic was finally unveiled at the New York Film Festival.
"The Irishman" by Martin Scorsese finally made his debut at the 2019 New York Film Festival during a press and industry screening in anticipation of tonight's official world premiere screening. The first reactions to the epic long-time gangsters in the works flock from the critics of movies and journalists and, for the most part, are spectacular. While VFX Scorsese, which reduced aging, played actors Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci, the film as a whole is highly praised.
"The Irishman" is like an album of great hits by a master of the medium. Yes, it's positive, "IndieWire chief critic Eric Kohn wrote on Twitter. "The artifice of aging is more characteristic than a bug. It's not "slow". It moves often like a lightning and elsewhere it is downright Bressonian. "

"The Irishman" starred De Niro as Frank Sheeran, a World War II veteran who became a killer to the crowd and allegedly played a role in the death of Jimmy Hoffa. The co-author of "Gangs of New York" from Scorsese, Steven Zaillian, wrote the screenplay after Charles Brandt's book "I Heard You Paint Houses." Russell Bufalino member. Secondary actors include Bobby Cannavale, Harvey Keitel, Ray Romano and Anna Paquin.
"The Irishman" will open in some rooms from November 1st. Netflix will broadcast the movie exclusively for a theatrical release for just over three weeks. The drama will begin streaming from November 27th. Discover the first wave of reactions below.
