The flagship smartphone series Huaweis P30, scheduled to launch on March 26

In line with our previous report, which suggested that Huawei's next flagship range – the Huawei P30 series could be launched at the end of March, the company has now confirmed it.

A video teaser has appeared online that confirms that the Huawei P30 series, which should include the P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite, will be officially announced at a launch event on March 26 in Paris, France.

According to rumors, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will be equipped with notched screens of water drops. A leakage image of the P30 Pro screen protector also confirms this statement. The UAProf of P30 and P30 Pro have been identified and their display resolution has been confirmed.

The leakage of images related to the display of the smartphone show a reduced chin size, which implies that the company decided to get rid of the main button that housed the fingerprint sensor. Instead, the company seems to have opted for an OLED screen with a built-in fingerprint sensor on the screen.

Previous leaks have revealed that the next Huawei P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite smartphones have the following code names: Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire, respectively. The phone display supports Full HD + resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and the device will be preinstalled with the latest Android 9 Pie operating system, with the company's own custom interface, EMUI.

Under the hood, the devices should be powered by the company's own Kirin 980 octa-core chipset, which is well positioned to compete with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. As for the camera, the P30 could include a triple module while the Pro edition should also arrive with triple back cameras, a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor and support for 10X optical zoom.

The RAM of the P30 series could reach 12 GB. While the P30 is supposed to have a 6.1 inch screen, the Pro version will come with a 6.5 inch OLED display. For fast charge technology, the P30 will support 22.5W while the P30 Pro will offer 40W support.

As has been said, the launch event of the Huawei P30 series is scheduled to take place in Paris on March 26th. It will reveal all specifications and features of the phone, as well as details of its price and availability. Meanwhile, the company will be attending the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this week for the launch of its 5G foldable smartphone.
