‘The Flash’ season 7 delayed by ‘Superman & Lois’ two-hour premiere

Season 7 of Flash was asked to slow down, his originally planned return is now being anticipated by an oversized ‘premiere event’ for the freshman CW series Superman and Lois.

The change in planning was first revealed (and almost subliminally) through an onscreen “bug” that appeared during BatwomanThe Season 2 premiere on Sunday night, although official details weren’t quick to follow.

Flash was originally scheduled to return with Season 7 on Tuesday, February 23 at 8 / 7c, leading up to the series premiere of Superman and Lois (with Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch).

Instead of, Superman and Lois will fly solo that night with a “two-hour premiere event” that pairs a 90-minute episode of the Arrowverse newcomer with a special called “Superman & Lois: Legacy of Hope.” The all-new special will include previews and interviews of the cast of the new series, as well as special guests discussing the legacy of the Man of Steel.

Flash is now confirmed to launch Season 7 the following Tuesday, March 2. As well reported, the new season will open with a version of the remaining three episodes of Season 6, which ends the Eva McCulloch Mirrorverse arc but were postponed by the pandemic – production stoppage.

Everything we know about TVLine Flash Season 7 ″ has therefore been updated!
