The Florida Gators Twitter account ignites in a fan of Georgia

If that's something the Florida Gators enjoyed this summer, they talked about their SEC rivals, the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Twitter account of the Gators football team came into action this week.

It all began when the same account in Florida released images of its moving trucks with new paintings of the Gators and glory days of the program. The footage included the three trophies of the national championship on the side of a truck.

A UGA fan tried to make fun of the trophy paintings by saying, "Those who put these trophies out there are not at the same level," followed by several laughing emojis.

Florida's twitter account could not resist the urge to respond.

Here's the comeback: "The trophy style has changed from the 90s to the early 2000s … look at the last trophy you won almost four decades ago. Completely different. #AndNowYouKnow. "

Of course, the Gators were referring to 1980, the last time UGA won the national championship.

This is not the first time that Florida has entered this direction with an insult. The Gators used their spring play assist number to apparently track the Bulldogs around 1980.

Flash forward to now: UGA has thrilled the Gators in the last two seasons, winning by a combined score of 78-24. Both teams will play again on November 2nd.
